About
Who Built This
Service Economics was built by Juho Pulkkinen — a service management practitioner who has spent years building data-driven service operations and AI governance capability inside corporate environments. The perspective behind this site comes from hands-on work: building service intelligence tooling, implementing AI governance frameworks, and seeing what happens when service firms have no visibility into what their delivery actually costs.
This site exists because the frameworks weren't there when they were needed. Every concept, visual, and playbook here is something that should have existed when service teams were trying to understand the true economics of their work. It's built from practice, not theory.
The Connection to DigitalCore
Juho is also the founder of DigitalCore, a platform that implements the Service Economics methodology in software. The two are kept deliberately separate. If you want a tool that automates what these playbooks describe, that's where to look. But everything on this site works without it.
